For a number of years, Connect Europ has organised, and helped others to organise, a wide variety of international projects. Based on this experience and expertise Mike Stokes has registered his CV with a number of international bodies and has made himself available for short-term overseas missions, most recently helping to select applications for the TEMPUS PROGRAMME and working for a time in Turkey organising a series of PROFESSIONAL STUDY VISITS. In addition, Mike was registered with the European Union as an expert for a number of different programmes in the last cycle, including TEMPUS, YOUTH IN ACTION, ERASMUS MUNDUS and KA4 – DISSEMINATION and EXPLOITATION of RESULTS.
Following the launch of the ERASMUS+ programme in January 2014, Mike Stokes’ registration has now been updated with European Commission Authentication Service (ECAS) – External database to cover the following areas of work within the Erasmus+ Programme: education, international cooperation, adult education, higher education, international cooperation and networks, mobility, vocational education and training, European transparency tools for validation ECVET, school education, secondary education, teacher training, dissemination of results, exploitation of results, training of trainers, special needs education, intercultural dialogue, accreditation/certification, youth, the professional development of youth workers and trainers and the management, leadership and internationalisation of youth organisers. Mike’s CV and the chronological list of his international activities demonstrate that he has worked widely within the fields of youth, the voluntary sector and school and higher education, organising and running a great many varied projects , not least with Eastern Europe and the TEMPUS programme, as well as promoting and training others to develop international projects and exchanges.
